Eddy Haryoto, Former Director of PT KAI who was also the Head Officer of Jogja Industory Exhibition, gave a welcoming speech on the 2012 Jogja Industory Exhibition.
In order to restore Vredeburg Fortress at Yogyakarta, Indonesian Railways Conservation and Heritage Unit PT KAI, participated the Jogja Industory 2012 Exhibition, which was held on April 4 – 10, 2012 at Vredeburg Fortress, Yogyakarta.
Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, Yogyakarta Governor, visited booths in the Jogja Industory Exhibition.
On Wednesday, April 4, 2012, the exhibition was opened by Vice Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs and also Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, Yogyakarta Governor. This event was also participated by other BUMN and provincial institutions, some of them are: Indonesian Railways Conservation and Heritage Unit PT KAI, PT Angkasa Pura, PD Tarumartani, PG Madukismo and also other museums in Yogyakarta, such as: Ground Force Museum, Air Force Museum, Proclamation Museum and Youth Oath Museum.

In this exhibition, PT KAI booth showed about heritage building of Lawang Sewu and Ambarawa museum. Moreover, there’s also train route of steam locomotive from Tuntang – Ambarawa – Jambu – Bedono.
